Hikaru Yamaguchi

I initially pursued the career after turning down multiple high paying job offers as I needed more money to support my family as the sole breadwinner, in succession to my father who was the sole breadwinner until right after I was done serving my national service when he was disabled due to stroke, dementia and parkinsonism.

I understood first hand, what it is like to not only care for a disabled and ill parent but also to financially support an entire household within a country where the cost of living, medical services and disabled care is high.

In taking over the reigns of the family young, it was mentally, physically and financially stressful, so much that I am thankful that this career allows me to help parents prepare contingently for bad situations that may dawn upon us anytime, and help their next of kin be prepared for anything to come, not having to go through what I had to.
